Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most famous role was that of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting Performance on a a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other appearances include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant in Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio, where she continued her passion for the theatre. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna started her acting career with Chicago-area theaters for a few years. She then moved on to film and television. Anna got her first major role as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. In the early 90s she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. The mid-2000's saw her was cast in Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008, she was picked as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully is the Deadwood film and a few other films also featured her. Gunn was also on stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also appeared in a series of audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final end reflect the final decades that were the life of Walter White.
